Some of my favorite albums are those with a few songs that don’t necessarily resonate on the first listen but then grow on you the most over time. Looking back now, those projects really lasted for me & became classics in my eyes - to this day. That’s what I strived for on this project. A sound you can fall in love with. Maybe Not Now but definitely, Not Never. _NNNN

popsnotthefather is a Gauteng-based rapper and singer who impeccably fuses smooth hip-hop with experimental melodies.
From being influenced by the funk his father played him growing up, to being a fan of artists like King Krule, The Weeknd and Tame Impala; Pops’ appreciation for a myriad of musical genres is well-reflected in his nuanced, candid and bold sound.
On the 1st of May 2020, the innanetwav.(UU) artist released his groundbreaking debut EP titled NNNN (acronym for - Not Now Not Never) fully produced by label-mate, 808x.
At debut level, he already boasts international features having worked with Ghanaian acts namely, KwakuBs and Hama - who are both featured on the hit-single RAPSTARCAVIAR.
Popsnotthefather recently received an esteemed knod when he was selected as Apple Music Upcoming Artist Of The Month; for the month of May - firmly making impact and asserting his entry into the global music arena.
